Getting Back to Lent Campaign

Metro Ministries says Thank You! to everyone who joined our Lenten Season Kickoff last Saturday. And thank you to everyone who has already given towards Metro's Getting Back to Lent campaign.

We are hoping to raise at least $4,000 towards our 2021 Grants program by asking folks to set aside at least $1/day during this season of Lent and make that a donation to Metro Ministries. You can click on the image below to make a donation now, or you may mail a check to Metro's office at 2560 Villa Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.

Will you help us reach our $4,000 goal?

Camping is back in 2021! Impact 2818, a ministry of the United Methodist Churches of Indiana, was unable to offer camps in 2020 due to COVID-19, but the folks at Impact 2818 and throughout the Indiana Conference are excited to announce this year's Camp Schedule.

For full details of each campsite and improvements made during the 2020 downtime, view this Conference Announcement.

Project Transformation Hosts Connection & Conviction Virtual Series

Project Transformation National will host a conversation on young adult vocational discernment with Dr. Patrick Reyes, on Thursday, February 25 at 12:30pm ET. Dr. Reyes, a Chicano practical theologian, educator and institutional strategist, will discuss what vocational discernment looked like for him, a young person growing up in one of America's most under-resourced communists.  Click HERE for registration information and more details on this free virtual event. Click for a downloadable flyer.

Project Transformation exists to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults and churches in purposeful relationships. Through a national network of affiliated chapters, including Project Transformation Indiana, the organization provides leadership development and ministry exploration experiences for young adults, who in turn, implement holistic programs for children. Project Transformation engages with United Methodist churches to host these programs, often creating a bridge between a local church and its community.
